Kelly Glass founds Kelectric, a company involved in the power, utilities and cable construction industry.

Glass founds Kelcom International Limited with acquisition of CATV license in St. Vincent & the Grenadines, trading as Karib Cable.

Glass wins Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award.

Due to telecommunications de-regularization throughout the OECS, new opportunities become apparent. Kelcom / Karib Cable successfully negotiates ISP licenses in both St. Vincent & the Grenadines and St. Lucia. Broadband internet service is launched in St. Vincent & the Grenadines.

Kelcom International (Antigua & Barbuda) Limited successfully obtains a fixed line cable television license in Antigua & Barbuda. The company starts from ground zero and within eighteen months has constructed cable throughout the majority of Antigua.

Having received its Broadband and Internet license in St. Lucia the previous year Kelcom International Limited formulates agreements with LUCELEC and starts its network roll out. To date over 50% of the populated territory has access to Karib Cable services with the build out spreading to the South of the island.

Kelcom International Limited launches its Fixed Line service in St. Vincent and becomes one of the region's first true Triple Play service providers.

With Karib Cable's Premium Service you get a wide selection of popular network channels, plus a generous assortment of regional and international programming.

With the addition of Karib Cable's Tiered The Box set top unit you receive additional channels of quality entertainment. The Box provides multiple different customer configurable packages including Entertainment, Sports, Movies and Family packages. Karib Cable deploys The Box through a fool proof technology provided by a digital set top converter. The box incorporates 100% signal encryption technology designed to offer the tiered packages only to Karib Cables Cable TV system customers.

Hate bills? Through The Box you can also buy electronic tokens and pay for what you watch! This no commitment, no hassle token system operates as a pay as you go type service. The pre-paid token system to Karib Cables digital set top box authorizes encrypted channels at the customer's leisure for the period that the token in active.

BROADBAND INTERNET

Karib Cable provides a faster more affordable high speed internet broadband access to its Customers. This always on service requires no need to login or enter long passwords. The domestic packages provide unlimited amounts of data transfer with no hidden additional billing, you pay one flat fee and that's it! Karib Cable's high speed internet broadband service requires no phone lines, in fact the service can be provided on the Customers existing Cable TV line without interference to any other service!

We also offer a state of the art customer database and billing system.

Karib Cable Broadband Internet services may not be available in all territories.

COMMERCIAL INTRANET

An intranet is a private network that is contained within an enterprise. It may consist of many interlinked local area networks and also use leased lines in the Wide Area Network. The main purpose of an intranet is to share company information and computing resources among employees. An intranet can also be used to facilitate working in groups and for teleconferences. Our Intranet Security provides for a Fire Walled Security across all Intranet Resources, encryption of valuable and private databases and user definable privileges to all Intranet resources.

FIXED LINE VOICE

Provided on the same cable at used for Karib Cable Cable TV and/or Karib Cable Internet our Fixed Line service gives the Customer additional choice in filling their telecommunications needs.

Karib Cable's fixed line voice services and its associated packages gives the Customer the power to make smarter decisions in the value they get when making local, regional and international calls. Karib Cable Voice comes with all known calling features including amongst others Caller ID, Call waiting and voice mail boxes. These features are to be provided at no extra cost. There are no hidden costs with charges being based on a monthly access charge, monthly charges for any calling plans that the Customer chooses and charges for calls that are not covered by the plan.
