Kite Flying - The annual kite flying event held by Karib Cable has become one of the dates to mark on your calendar every Easter. The event moves from Georgetown to Bequia and then to Argyle for the main event. There are over 15 categories in each event with prizes ranging from educational material to television sets. The event has grown leaps and bounds each year with a record 178 participants taking part in the last event.

Spelling Bee - Our national Primary school spelling bee competition is one of the most outstanding corporate initiatives in the country. This annual event sees participation from over 90% of the primary schools throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The winning school walks away with a computer lab and one years free internet access valued at over $10,000 ECD. Last year's winner was the Kingstown Preparatory School.

Community Involvement

Environmental Clean-ups - Karib Cable sponsors and participates in numerous clean-ups throughout the island chain every years. Bumper stickers marked "Keep St. Vincent Clean Green and Serene" can be found on numerous vehicles throughout the country.

Sponsorships - Karib Cable has sponsored numerous different sporting and cultural organizations throughout the island. Our latest venture was to sponsor the young upcoming tennis player Daneya Charles. Karib Cable will give Daneya $1,500 ECD for every tournament she participates in outside St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
